Great memories of Starsky & Hutch. My favorite episode with when Hutch goes under cover/incognito to see if Starsky can figure out who he is.
Also, I was very young when ‘Salem’s Lot was on CBS and I was too scared to watch any of it. Years later, I watched and great work David put into it. I did listen to his music he put out in the 70’s and he was a talented singer. My thoughts and prayers for David and his family. He will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with David’s family. So sorry for your loss. David was a wonderful person and gifted with many talents. The world was blessed to have him share these talents with us. He will be always be remembered and loved by his many fans. Thank you David for being part of our lives. God bless you, RIP.
I grew up watching Starsky and Hutch, it was a great privilege to meet my two hero’s at a comic con in Liverpool a memory I will cherish forever.
My condolences to all David’s family and friends, he will remain in our hearts forever.
The loss of David hit me much harder than I ever could have expected. My memories of him began in 1975 with Starsky and Hutch, and I remembered him from many other projects through the years. He was an incredibly talented actor and sadly under appreciated. I saw what I believe to be many award worthy performances by him. Maybe he didn’t win much because he didn’t want to play the “game”.
We all have our good AND bad times in life and David was no different. He deserves to be remembered for what he chose to do from those.
I also am so impressed and touched by the way he cherished his friendship/partnership with Paul for the rest of his life.
My heartfelt condolences go out to his wife Helen, his family, Paul and his other friends, and to all his fans. We will never forget what a gift David was to this world. You are loved. Rest in Peace David and Sing with the Angels.
So many wonderful memories of watching Starsky and Hutch. Paul and David will always be a special memory in my heart. I watch my DVDS all the time prayers and hugs to his family. Thanks for sharing him with us fans. We will always love him and never forget him. RIP David ” Hutch”
Dear Helen
I have always loved Starsky and Hutch, like they really knew me. They touched my heart and I’m so sorry David has left this world. I am so grateful to have had them in my life. I had the pleasure of meeting Starsky 2022 in London and I missed David by 1 day which I bitterly regret. My condolenses to you and all your family and thank you for all you did 🙏
Lieber David.
In ewiger Liebe deine Corinna🕯🙏♥️
I have been a huge fan of David, Paul and Antonio since I was a child, I loved everything about David Soul from his music every show and movie that he did I have seen them all. I named my first Son after him and was so thankful that I got to meet him at the Chiller Theater in New Jersey. I told him about my son David and he was so nice and told me that that was so nice of me to name him after him. I also got to meet Paul and Antonio twice. His death is so sad and I can’t believe it. I’m simply heartbroken and will be forever! I’m keeping his family, Paul and Antonio in my prayers There will never be another David Soul in this world!
My Momma loves Starsky and Hutch and she introduced it to me. She’s 72 now and I am 39. It’s our comfort show. We watch it together. David’s very presence on the TV screen is such a comfort and soothing. I absolutely adore his music and his voice.
I knew this one was gonna hit me hard. I still haven’t fully processed the loss. It was unexpected for me. I guess I just assumed he would live forever. I wish he could have.
But our loss as fans can never ever compare to what you all as his family, and friends, have lost. I am so very sorry. You all have my sympathy and my love. And David has my love, may he rest peacefully.
I have been a David Soul fan since I was 16 and I am now 72. He has touched my life through his music, his acting, and his kindness. He knew me as the deer lady and my deer ranch has 3 deer, Starsky, Hutch and Huggy. They are now 7 and customers always tell me sweet stories of their memories of growing up with David. My gift shop has photos displayed of all 3 of the guys. And I play David’s music a lot. His memory will keep me company for the rest of my life. He was a very special person who lit up the whole world.
My deepest sympathies and condolences to all David’s family and friends. I have been a great admirer of David since “Here Come the Brides” and have closely followed his career since. I play his music constantly and find it amazing. Hearing of his passing was like hearing of a distant but much loved relative dying. A shock, even though we knew he wasn’t well. He will be forever missed. Peace and love to all.
I never missed an episode of Starsky & Hutch as a teen. It was my very favorite show and I was a “Hutch girl”! The show led me to discover David’s music which I enjoyed for hours on end (much to my family’s annoyance at times I’m sure). I found his voice beautiful and soothing. I followed his career as I grew up and loved watching the various roles he performed. It was with great shock and sadness that I read of his passing. It’s like losing a part of your youth. He has always remained one of my very favorite actors and always will be. My deepest condolences to his wife, children and his dear friends.
Starsky and Hutch was my must see programme. My Gran would allow me to stay up late on a Saturday night to see it. So both Paul and David were very much my heroes. So very saddened to hear of David’s passing. Loved him in Salems Lot, and I was lucky enough to see David playing the narrator in the west end production of Blood Brothers. Collected all of David’s albums too. My thoughts with all his family and friends, Thank you David for everything.
