David Soul—beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother—passed away on January 4, 2024, after a valiant battle for life in the loving company of family. He shared many extraordinary gifts in the world as actor, singer, storyteller, creative artist, and dear friend. His smile, laughter, and passion for life will be remembered by the many whose lives he has touched.

My heart is truly saddened. I have been a fan of David since he played Joshua Bolt on Here Comes The Brides. I still watch Starsky and Hutch reruns. As a big British tv fan, I was thrilled to see him on Inspector Lewis, and Poirot! And of course, his beautiful singing! Prayers to your family! Rest in peace! Thank you for all the joy you brought to this world! I will never forget you!

Words fall woefully short to describe the emotions at the news of your passing. I have watched you for over forty years. I grew up with you and Paul. The joy and happiness you both brought into this life are priceless and eternal. The world has gotten a little dimmer now. The only solace I take is knowing I might get to see you when I too move off this place. Rest now, David. You’ve earned it.
I have been a fan of Starky &Hutch since I was 6 years old. I’m 55 years young. And have followed David Soul career and enjoyed his Acting. He will be missed and his family and friends has my condolences.
Thank you for being my first crush when I was 13. I saw you in Radio City Music Hall when I was 14. I brought my first Album and It was David Soul in 1977. To me you were the most beautiful man I ever saw. I thin I was too young to know what love was but I knew I loved loved you!!

I was so sad to hear the news of David’s passing and had to watch my most favorite lighter-side of Hutch episode of Starsky & Hutch, “Murder on Stage 17.” He was so funny when he was given a line in the movie he and Starsky were working undercover on as stuntmen and kept saying the line too fast and then too slow. Starsky & Hutch is my all-time favorite TV show and David and Paul were phenomenal in it together – such great dramatic actors while also being able to bring humor and vulnerability to their characters so skillfully. Thank you, David, for your fantastic contribution to the show I enjoyed so much when I was young up until this day. Rest in peace and condolences to your family and friends.
Dear David, when l was a young girl, l was very lonely without friends. But there was you playing Hutch in Starsky and Hutch.
You helped me through a very tough time and l will thank you for that.

I first saw David on Starsky and Hutch. I had a huge crush on him for years. I had a T-shirt with his pic on it. People must have got sick of seeing me wear it. I loved his show with Paul. He was a great actor and I thank him for all the years of joy he brought me. I am heartbroken that he is no longer with us. Love you David.

Having followed David from the early days of S+H, through the music and plays to all the other things he did I will miss his presence but thank him for the people I knew through his work. To Helen and all the members of David’s family my thoughts are with you at this sad time.
What great memories I have of watching Starsky and Hutch, and the red grand Torino with the white stripe on the door. It was a big part of my childhood, and I’ll never forget it. Salem’s Lot…what a classic, David made you feel like you were right there along side of him, hunting that evil. From the films, to the music, I will always have those memories. RIP David, may your family find peace at this most difficult time.

I never missed an episode of Starsky and Hutch. My bedroom walls were covered with posters and tiger-beat magazine pages of Paul and David. They were my childhood. I wish I would have had the chance to meet them. I truly am sorry for your lose. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please know how blessed you were to have David in your lives!
I first saw David in Here Come The Brides on TV and then on Starsky and Hutch which will always be my favorite show since age 16 now 65. Fantastic Actor and Singer ! My deepest condolences to his wife ,Children , Family and friends . Much love to them from Indiana 💕
