David Soul—beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother—passed away on January 4, 2024, after a valiant battle for life in the loving company of family. He shared many extraordinary gifts in the world as actor, singer, storyteller, creative artist, and dear friend. His smile, laughter, and passion for life will be remembered by the many whose lives he has touched.

So saddened to hear of David’s passing. A huge part of my childhood, such happy memories of watching Starsky and Hutch with my family. They were my absolute heroes and adored them both. My very first record I bought was Silver Lady and then got his album for Christmas and played it so much, still have it. Thank you so much David for such happy memories. He will be forever missed but forever our Hutch. Sincere condolences to all his family and friends. Stand down detective Hutchinson, rest in peace the beautiful David Soul.

It’s hard to believe that David has gone. I’m deeply sorry. David is GREAT and he has left an outstanding legacy.
Who is remembered never dies… David will always be remembered by the ones who love him – family, friends and fans.

RIP David. Totally shocked still can’t believe it. Starsky and Hutch were a big part of my life as a teenager. Sincere condolences to Helen and his children.
So sad to hear about david s passing .he was one of my first heroes watching starsky and hutch in 1975 .i was in hospital and had a giant hutch poster above my hospital bed the lad next to me had a starsky poster ..the nurses made us a made up police badge with hutch on mine and starsky on his ..we used to go around the ward as them both …r i p david you will be missed

I m very sad that we lost David Soul but, most of all, I m sade for his family and friends who knew him. My condoleances.
When kid, and growing up in south of France, my brothers, my whole neigborhood and I were just looking forward to see David, Paul Michael, Benny and Antonio every sunday after noon. It was like a tradition…and after, we, kids, where chassing each other in the street “Zebra 3” Style. So, David is part of us.
I later readed more about his life, background, origins (I live in Norway, now) and appreciated the man more.
That man was unselfish and I remember that he did for the poor who were starving. He was humbly talking about it in French TV, once…and in French.
To finish, I could not help to think of David when going to LA for the first time, last summer, and go to the building that was used on Starsky and Hutch serie as the police office in San Pedro. It was crazy, for me
