Michael Brandon was born in Brownsville, Brooklyn on April 20th. He studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and The Actors Studio in New York, with Eric Morris and scene work with Howard Fine in Los Angeles. But before that he was the funny guy in a New York street gang, a street corner harmonizer, a stock boy, truck driver, bagel baker, wholesale beauty supplier, pre-law student, a waiter, a photographer, a student of psychology and a twentieth-century cowboy. Most recently, Michael was nominated England's most prestigious Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his role as Jerry Springer in Jerry Springer - The Opera.
