June 06 2007 - The Long And Short Of It

David joins Richard Briers and Max Stafford-Clark in The Long and the Short of It. An evening of short stories and performances for the longest day of the year.

David joins actor Richard Briers and theatre director, Max Stafford-Clark in a fund-raising evening of live performance to celebrate InterAct's pioneering charity work in supporting stroke recovery. The Long and the Short of It presents an uplifting and entertaining midsummer evening of short stories, poems and performances with a personal talk from Max Stafford-Clark about his own experience with stroke and InterAct's support on his road to recovery.

With comic interludes by Fringe phenomenon Ricky Grover and Hackney Empire favourite Maureen Younger; musical performances by composer/pianist Joseph Phibbs and soprano Fiona Dobie; plus a rendition of The Mechanicals from A Midsummer Night's Dream, this eclectic evening of live performance will raise funds to develop InterAct's unique work in stroke recovery both in London and across the UK.
